Most entry-level jobs are directed towards college or high school graduates who know what they want to do with their career. Companies know that and that's why they can offer entry-level positions that are low paying and without benefits. However, that doesn't mean entry-level jobs are for graduates only. If you're a little on the older side of life looking to switch careers and hungry enough to prove yourself then there's nothing to lose by accepting an entry level position, whether it's with a marketing company or real estate agent in Mississauga.

Just show up to work everyday, learn from those around you, bask in any praise but also don't get upset when criticized and, most importantly, don't complain. Entry-level work might seem thankless but it serves a purpose that will enhance your career aspirations.
